Membership/ Next PTO Meeting
We are off to a good start with close to 50 members. We hope to encourage more members and involvement. We have an open membership, and dues are only $10 per household. We will be sending out a survey to our members in the next few weeks to get their feedback on where we should be focusing our fundraising efforts. Some of these areas include school clubs, playground equipment, and school events. The more members and volunteers we have the more we can do to support students, staff, and the school. The next PTO member meeting will be on Tues. Nov. 19 at 6 p.m. in the library.
Box Tops
Thank you to all of those who sent in Box Tops. We collected 1,650 box tops for a total of $166 that will go towards supporting the PTO. (Please keep existing box top instructions mentioning the app and instructions)
Landscape – Hertz Car Rental
We would also like to thank Hertz Car Rental for selecting our school for the ‘Hertz Cares’ community project. Hertz donated $2,000 in materials and other equipment to improve the landscape around the front of the school. We appreciate the parents and staff that helped donate their time towards this project.
Winter Wonderland
This year, the PVES PTO will be hosting a chili supper during Winter Wonderland on Fri. Dec. 6h. We will be selling chili, hot dogs, chips, drinks, desserts and hot chocolate. If you plan on eating, we suggest coming early. We will be serving on a first come first serve basis until we run out. We are asking each grade to help out by providing the following items by Tues. Dec. 2nd:
Kindergarten: Chips Ahoy! and Oreo Cookies
